Husqvarna 7021P Push Lawn Mower Review

Husqvarna 7021P Push Lawn Mower

The Husqvarna mower gets my vote for best gas lawn mower because it’s easy to start, powerful, and easily maneuverable. It does everything I want a lawn mower to do and nothing else. This is the mower my crew wants to use.

Features

The Honda engine in the Husqvarna 7021P is a big part of the reason it gets my vote for best mower. The auto-choke, no-priming system gets the mower going right away. And it’s a powerhouse. You could pay more for a Honda mower, but you get the same engine in the Husqvarna at a lower price.

It’s a push mower, so energy isn’t siphoned off the engine to run a self propelling system. That said, it’s still easy to push thanks in part to double ball bearing in the wheels.

I also like that the handle adjusts to three levels to work for various heights. Our favorite gas mower had 4-point, 9 position cutting height adjustment for varying lawn conditions.

This may be best lawn mower for the money.

Specifications

  • Ball bearing wheels 8-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels that provides improved maneuverability in all types of grass
  • single-lever deck adjustment
  • discharge, bag, and mulch
  • 21” deck
  • 160cc engine

Pros: light, easy to start, powerful, cuts thick grass well.

Cons: handle may need reinforcing

Summary – 9/10

For an all around gas lawn mower than runs hard and lasts, this is the one.
